A Watchful Eye
The Smart Collar
The feedback I received was basically the same. One comment about not knowing what the requirement for wearing business attire is. This I can remember Dr. Pryor mentioning in a lecture about how it's hot in Florida so he understands the dress code might not be so formal. I did receive an additional feedback comment about trying to be more expressive and use hand gestures. Which I thought was a good idea.
What I changed was I wore a different polo and tried to speak slowly again and not speed the pitch up. I also tried to use a better tone of voice to give more expression to the pitch.I'm not sure if it made much of a difference as I'm still uncomfortable speaking in front of a camera and I will continue to try and improve on that in the future. Overall I think the pitch describes my product very well.
It looks like an overall excellent job. And I think I can hear the increased vocality in this pitch. Since this is our third time, I’m not sure if there’s anything else to mention. Perhaps money and profit could be discussed, like for example, the collars could be sold for $90, which is competitive with GPS collars for pets.
ReplyDeleteVictor, great job on the pitch. I really liked how you compared and contrasted your product from the other pet monitoring devices that are already out there. I think your tone really sounds as if you're trying to sell your product to people. It seems like the polo won't be a problem if the professor isn't strict with the formal attire for this assignment.
